I truly like the fact that you are working to improve the academic success of third grade students in science by looking at intruction styles and techniques. My suggestion for an extension to your action research would be to include, maybe next year, the second and first grade teachers in an effort to ensure that quality science instruction is happening at all grade levels in your school.
